Cancers that begin in the lungs are divided into small-celled and non-small-celled cancers. The difference between the cancers is determined according to the view of the microscope. Both types of cancer are spread in different ways and treatment methods vary.
Lung cancer is a small cell cancer called oat. Non-small cell cancers spread more rapidly to other organs, causing the cancer virus to be found not only in the lung but also in other organs. Non-small cell cancers are more prevalent. Generally slower development and faster spreading. There are three main types of the diffusion process. There is no difference between these types in terms of treatment and lifespan. There is no single cause for Lung Cancer that is linked to various factors. While there is a fact that the causes of cancer are different, it is seen that cancer is mostly caused by tobacco use. Lung cancer is not contagious, but the risk of getting caught for each body varies.
- Lung Cancer Formation:
When the risk of lung cancer is considered, the first use of cigarette causes the risk factor to increase. In the emergence of lung cancer, every detail is important until the number of cigarettes smoked per day is exhausted. It fulfils its mission by dividing and multiplying lung cells which provide oxygen production which is most necessary for the body. In the body with lung cancer, the lung cells grow out of necessity and uncontrollable to form a tumour. The resulting mass exhibits growth characteristics and damages other tissues. The smoking cigar pipe has been proven to accelerate the formation of involuntary cells in the lung.
In socioeconomic countries, studies on behalf of non-smokers are accelerated to prevent the formation of lung cancer. As a result of leaving the cigarette, the risk of lung cancer decreases after at least 5 years. Even if a person who smokes leaves the cigarette, the risk of lung cancer can not be completely eliminated. The number of lung cancer virus carriers is 25% when they are not smoking. As a passive smoker, unwanted cells are formed on the lungs. While smokers have the possibility to throw out half of the smoke they are smoking, passive smokers show the ability to put out every smoke they take as long as they are in a smoking environment.
- Lung Cancer Symptoms:
It is best not to start cigarette smoking among the most important causes of lung cancer. In lung cancer, diagnosis is made by drawing a film. As long as the smoked cigarettes are continued to be smoked, there is no positive development for the disease. It is not possible for complainants to develop lung cancer without coming to the advanced stage. Along with the increase in a seasonal cough and sputum, cancer signs are emerging. Blood in sputum is one of the complaints that should raise suspicion for cancer because of shortness of breath. In the first phase of the disease, fatigue causes excessive weight loss, sweating pain between the chest and the scabbard. Lung cancer is also present without any finding.
The disease is clarified by computerized tomography after a mass seen in patients who underwent plain radiography during cancer detection. The patient undergoes tomography guidance or bronchoscopy through a needle from a thin bendable tube. This process is called a biopsy. Upon spreading for diagnosed lung cancer in other organs, computed tomography and other organs are checked to see if there is any splash in the bones. Among lung cancer detection stages, the lowest level is called the highest level and the 4th level is the highest level.
- Lung Cancer Treatment:
After the diagnosis is made, radiation therapy is applied to the patients who have reached the stage 3-4 while the physicians decide to take the cancer cells surgically. Surgical intervention is performed for very small diameter tumours while chemical treatment and radiotherapy for other large diameter tumours are performed simultaneously.
